How do you envision your wedding flowers?

It’s no secret that planning a wedding can get overwhelming, and add up, quickly. The route of a traditional full-service florist might not best suit each couple, and that’s ok! Our A La Carte Menu is very different from what a full-service florist might offer. Our couples tend to be inspired by the garden-gathered style, look forward to arranging fresh local flowers for their receptions tables, and love, love, love supporting local farms.

While we can’t guarantee specific varieties or shades of flowers, we can guarantee absolutely stunning blooms that are fresh as can be, grown right here on our farm. And you can expect exceptional customer service every step of the way. We offer three main “color palette themes”: bright/bold, soft/pastel, and white/neutral. In the Fall only, we can do a dark/antique/moody palette theme.

We always incorporate a good mix in our buckets of blooms that makes it super-easy to DIY for weddings. We go heavy on the blooms and light on the greenery, so you’ll need to let me know if you need extra foliage.

My goal is to bring your vision of a stress-free, joyful day to life with beautiful, locally grown blooms. Can’t wait to hear from you!

FAQ’S

  • Not at this time. BUT we do offer three color palette options.

For Bushels of Blooms, we go heavy on the blooms and light on the foliage, so let me know if you need more greenery (examples: lemon basil, raspberry greens, cress, dill)

  • Each bucket will include seasonal blooms from the farm. My go-to ratios for making popular diy wedding arrangements are:

    focals ~20%

    filler, disks, spikes, whimsy ~70%

    greens ~10%

IF you find your diy designs will likely need more focal flowers for an extra-luxe look, or more greens for that “wildflower, herbal” vibe, please include that information in your inquiry email following the link provided on this webpage.

  • 1 day before your event, or day-of, depending on menu items selected.

We are very flexible with pickup times, but do not recommend picking up more than 48 hours in advance.

Flowers included in A La Carte arrangements are harvested and conditioned to reach their peak bloom for your wedding date. For Bushels of Blooms, choose a pickup date to ensure that you have the time you need to arrange the stems before your event.

  • No floral arranging supplies are included.  Please return our buckets :)

  • TL;DR: keep cool + dark + in water until go-time. But probably not in a fridge.

All flowers will last through your entire event, if they receive proper care. As long as you follow the rule of thumb to avoid heat and light exposure, it’s pretty simple. (I know, heat and light, right? It’s basically the opposite of what they need while growing in the ground) Avoid heating vents, sunny windows and hot cars. Keep “wearables” cool (ex.: boutonniere) and “carryables” (ex.: bouquet) with stem ends in water until their time to shine for the event.

When designing with a bucket of blooms for your DIY project, try to give your finished arrangements time to rest in the cool and dark before they are set on display or carried (at least 4 hours).

    A fridge is not recommended.

  • Couples typically place their order and reserve their pickup date 6 months-1 year ahead of wedding day. The earlier, the better, as this ensures you get the pickup date you want.

  • Let’s talk asap! It is vital that you contact me through email. Please note in your invoice/contract that not all changes may be possible on short notice, but I am happy to help make changes where we can. For example, extra buckets of blooms can be ordered up to two weeks before your pickup date.

  • Buckets of Blooms must be picked up at our farmstand during your scheduled pickup window.

We offer cardboard supports if you are transporting bouquets.

  • Since style is such a large factor into what goes into any bouquet recipe, we can only offer limited estimations.

We can easily make one very large bridal bouquet, one toss posy and a boutonniere from two buckets, and about 5-7 large mason jar arrangements from two buckets.

One bucket would likely fill approximately 12-15 bud vases with 3-5 stems each.
