STORE POLICIES

Strawberry Moon Blooms is committed to providing customer service that is thoughtful and timely, and providing options for remedying issues with any order. Due to the perishable nature of flowers, we are limited in our ability to provide refunds, returns or exchanges, but every effort will be made to accommodate requests.  Please view our policies below concerning refunds, returns and exchanges for purchases made through our online shop and farmstand.

All claims must be submitted in writing via email to sara@strawberrymoonblooms.com. Claims submitted via online forms or direct messages on social media will be redirected to email.

Expect all claims to receive a response within 1 business day.


Missed Deliveries and Pickup:

Missed pickup items will be held no longer than 2 business days. Fresh flowers have a finite vase life which influences this policy.

If someone is not available to receive a delivery order, the item(s) will be left in a sheltered spot if one is available. If the delivery driver determines that no acceptably sheltered spot is available, or if inclement weather does not permit outdoor drop-off, a re-delivery will be attempted. If the recipient is unavailable to reschedule delivery or does not want to receive the items, no refunds or returns will be offered. Strawberry Moon Blooms will attempt to contact the recipient via phone and email up to two times each, in order to schedule a re-delivery attempt. Recipient must respond within 2 business days.


Online fresh flower purchases and subscriptions:

Due to the perishable and seasonal nature of fresh flowers, Strawberry Moon Blooms will make every effort to substitute stems of equal or higher monetary value into designs when certain stems are unavailable or become prematurely damaged or aged. We do not include “old” stems in our fresh flowers arrangements, as this decreases the vase life for those arrangements and bouquets to be enjoyed. 


Once the fresh flowers leave our studio via pickup, or are delivered via the delivery vehicle, Strawberry Moon Blooms is no longer held accountable for the state of those items. It is the responsibility of the recipient to keep fresh flowers away from heat, light, wind, and other natural forces which may damage stems. It is also the recipient’s responsibility to oversee flower care by providing those stems with cool, clean water for the duration of their vase life. Strawberry Moon Blooms guarantees a minimum vase life of 5 days if the fresh flowers are well cared for.


Refunds and exchanges are not available for fresh flowers that do not meet the aesthetic desires of the recipient. Strawberry Moon Blooms does not make any guarantees that the fresh flowers purchased will exactly match the photographs that are provided in the product description online. This is due to the perishable and seasonal nature of the flowers, which may require substitutions of flower varieties or quantities of equal or lesser monetary value.


Fresh Flower Subscriptions are available on a weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly basis for seasonal arrangements and wrapped bouquets. Terms and Conditions for those subscriptions are posted within the product pages for those items. If a change of date for delivery or pickup is necessary, that date must be selected within 8 days of the original designated delivery date. Vacations and life events happen and we strive to accommodate any changes to subscription services.


A La Carte Wedding Flowers:

All A La Carte wedding flowers purchases are final. Changes to selected color palette may be made up to 30 days in advance of the designated pickup or delivery date. Additional designs may be ordered up to 14 days in advance of the designated pickup or delivery date. If a wedding cancellation occurs, Strawberry Moon Blooms will work with you to try and reach a resolution. Notification of wedding cancellation must be made at least 14 days prior to originally designated wedding date in order for Strawberry Moon Blooms to make an attempt to offer assistance. Full refunds are typically not an option for resolution due to wedding cancellation. A change in wedding date must be submitted via email at least 14 days in advance of the original wedding date. 


Merchandise:

Exchanges and In-store credit may be offered for non-perishable items returned to our studio within 30 days of purchase and undamaged in original packaging. This excludes chocolate truffles by Bellafina Chocolates, which are not eligible for refunds, exchanges, or returns.
